Yesterday a new version of the last picture posted, was posted on the MM website, and here it is:
On my last “New Metallica Album Cover…?” post I mentioned a lot about what other people were saying about it. This time I will only tell you what I think.
The new letters added, “EI”, kill the idea of it being for a Bonnaroo Webcast Stream. I don’t think that it is going to spell something, but I may be wrong. I still think that it is like an acronym or something, and from the “New Song” it could be part of it, “D”eath is not the “E”nd, and “IC” may be “Is Coming”, or something like that. If this is true, the picture could end up being something along the lines of “DINTEIC” (meaning “Death Is Not The End, Is Coming”), with a date under it, the album name (or single), and release date…
I have made an image on photoshop of what I think it will look like. Here it is:
While I was making the image, I noticed that the Metallica “M”s on the right were darker than that on the left… weird.
I’ll put a third post up about this when the next image is released, which will probably be tomorrow.

Oh man, we can’t wait until it comes out! Loved The Black Album, Ride The Lightning, etc. Haven’t heard a good Metallica album since. Have any news on when this is slated to come out?
