My bands (was originally about band names… oh well)

Ok, so I have a few bands going, all of which I play drums in, and we all sort of have names, but at least one person in each group is like “Ugh I… I just… It just doesn’t do it for me…” so it’s really hard to get the right name.

My first band was initially called “Storm”. We soon changed it to “Storm The band” or “STB”, to sort of not get into bother with other companies called “Storm” if (lol) we got big. Later we found that that name was taken (by about 6 other bands), so we moved on to other ideas. So far we have had the name “Rage Wire” (random, but I sorta like it), and now we are “The Last Green Cowboys” (sounds like one of those new bands that all the emo people like).

My second band (that have not talked about the whole concept of a band for about 2 years now) were called “The Losers”, probably not taken, was a crap idea and was never going to work.

My third (and final) band is currently called “Moscow Exchange”. I like the name but one of the guys despises it. We have never once played together, and I haven’t even met our lead guitarist. The other guitarist is like rich, so he has a REAL (lol) Fender Strat and Gibson Les Paul (one of the more expensive Les Pauls, I’m not sure what kind though), however, he is only grade 2, and as I always say, “Money does not buy talent” (I have never said that before in my life). I reckon if we have 1 practice it will be a disaster, but if we like get together for like 5 or so jam sessions over the summer, we could really get into it.

I’m kinda gettin’ tired, so I’ll stop writing (Joel tends to write a lot in his posts, like a-geeky-lot, like he probably took an hour to write his “Linux” post :S )

Lol, keep checking for my daily posts! I promise 2 tomorrow (what have I just got myself into!)

  1. I find that rather insulting. :D

Yeah, we need a decent name.

My guitar teacher always says “Grades don’t mean talent.” Cause he’s amazing and has never done an exam. :P
