According to Metallica’s website, they filmed a music video for the first feature track of their new album (Death Magnetic), named “The Day That Never Comes”. They actually called it a “short film” rather than a music video. Does that mean acting? I don’t think so 
.The director was Thomas Vinterberg, and they filmed in the middle of dust and smoke, just outside Los Angeles, CA. The video will apparently be released at the end of the month.
